What to bring to your glampsite

Inside or out, the 16-foot Lotus Belle tent glowed with the fun of a night spent glamping.

Crosley Portable Messenger

Turntable: You may think it’s a bit much to bring a turntable camping when you can pull out a Bluetooth speaker and listen to music from your phone instead. But where is the glamour in a Bluetooth speaker? A record player offers the right amount of vintage charm and warm sounds for your evening out. Just don’t put your vinyl too close to the fire. Crosley’s battery-operated turntable is built into a messenger bag and easy to tote around. $63 at www.amazon.com.

Cork-shaped rechargeable bottle light: Wine is important for hydration in the forest, so I always recommend bringing several bottles when glamping. There’s no reason why those wine bottles should only serve one purpose. Rechargeable, cork-shaped LED lights turn your empties into lamps. They’re also a good excuse to drink more wine. When the lights dim, you can recharge them in an any USB port. $10 at bedbathandbeyond.com.

Goal Zero Nomad 7 Plus Solar Panel: Those glampers seeking solitude — meaning a site with no electrical hook-up — still need to keep phones charged in order to continually post their fabulous adventures to Instagram and Snapchat. Goal Zero makes portable solar panels that handily charge phones and cameras, ensuring a steady stream of envy-worthy photos for the world to see. $99 at www.llbean.com.
