For the record
■ Correction: A New York Times obituary that ran in Saturday’s Globe about Sidney D. Drell, a physicist who was a top adviser to the US government on military technology and arms control, omitted two survivors. Besides two daughters and three grandchildren, he also leaves his wife, the former Harriet Stainback, and his son, Daniel. The obituary also misstated his position at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. He was deputy director.
