The junior goalie has compiled a 0.72 goals against average playing every minute for the 9-4-3 Tufts women’s soccer team. Bowers registered back-to-back shutouts against Bowdoin and Trinity, added a key assist in the latter game, and was the New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The senior varsity basketball and softball player at Milford High won the 17th Student Sportsmanship Essay/Multimedia Contest of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association. Her video on “The Authentic Athlete’’ will be shown at the MIAA’s Sportsmanship Summit Nov. 17 at Gillette Stadium.

The first-year forward for the women’s soccer squad at Saint Joseph’s College (Maine) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Rookie of the Week. She scored a goal in three consecutive matches, including one with 55 seconds left in a 1-0 win over Thomas College.
