Cameras are rolling on “Chappaquiddick,’’ director John Curran’s film about the 1969 car accident involving Senator Ted Kennedy and Mary Jo Kopechne. The 27-year-old Kopechne, a passenger in the Oldsmobile Delmont 88 driven by Kennedy, drowned when the car went off a bridge late at night. The movie, which stars Jason Clarke (far right) as Kennedy and Kate Mara as Kopechne, has begun filming on Martha’s Vineyard. The cast also includes Jim Gaffigan (near right), who plays former US Attorney and Kennedy friend Paul Markham.
