Darrell Green, 11, a fifth-grader at Gardner Pilot Academy in Allston, had a private audience with Mayor Martin J. Walsh on Tuesday at the unveiling of a mural that was co-created by students. Green and his classmates worked on the mural with Mark Cooper, a Boston-based artist who is known for his collaborative endeavors with schoolchildren across the country.
