The documentary “Steven Tyler: Out on a Limb,’’ directed by Bridgewater’s Casey Tebo, premiered at the Nashville Film Festival, and the Aerosmith singer was there to enjoy it.

The film follows Tyler as he takes a break from the Bad Boys From Boston to pursue a solo career as a country singer in Nashville. The 70-year-old released a not-half-bad country rock album, “We’re All Somebody From Somewhere,’’ in 2016. Tebo previously directed the Aerosmith concert DVD “Rock for the Rising Sun.’’

Tyler was joined at the premiere by his girlfriend Aimee Preston.
