‘I wake up every day being excited to come to the office.’’
Really.
This is no phony quote at the top of an employee engagement brochure, it’s an actual sentiment from an employee who has filled out the Globe’s annual Top Places to Work survey.
More than 250 companies have signed up for the program so far, and if your organization hasn’t joined in yet, you’re in luck. The deadline to nominate your company has been extended until June 24.
Any organization in Massachusetts with 50 or more employees — public, private, government, or nonprofit — is eligible to participate. Just fill out the form at bostonglobe.com/nominate or call 617-674-2286. The Globe’s research partner, WorkplaceDynamics, will have employees fill out an anonymous 24-question survey covering factors such as benefits, management, and engagement.
WorkplaceDynamics will then rank companies in four size categories. Last year, nearly 77,000 employees at 357 organizations completed surveys, and 125 companies were recognized in four size categories.
The results will be published in November in a special Top Places to Work edition of the Boston Globe Magazine.
