The film will be released May 6. In other news, Warner Bros. confirmed Tuesday that Ben Affleck – of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’’ – will direct and star in a standalone Batman feature. The studio broke the news at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where execs and stars gather to promote projects. The Hollywood Reporter wrote in March that Affleck had developed a script for a Batman feature.
