Paraskevidekatriaphobia

If you suffer from this hard-to-say phobia, today might be a day to stay in bed: Paraskevidekatriaphobia (from the Greek words for Friday and the number 13) is an irrational fear of Friday the 13th. The day also falls this year in October. The name is attributed to a North Carolina psychotherapist who allegedly told patients, “When you learn to pronounce it, you’re cured.’’
