Lawyers for the Massachusetts House of Representatives will present recommendations on Thursday stemming from a review of the chamber’s sexual harassment policies.

The review was initiated in October 2017 after a Globe report. The story was based on interviews with a dozen women who have worked in and around the State House over the past two decades, and detailed a “climate of harassment and sexual misconduct.’’

House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo kicked off the review through a formal Oct. 27order that was adopted by the House.

That order included a mandate that the report “recommend enhancements to existing structures, policies, and procedures to instill a culture of accountability focused on ensuring a professional and safe working environment for all members, officers, employees, and guests of the House.’’

Findings will be presented at 1 p.m. Thursday, according to an e-mail sent to House members Tuesday afternoon.
