THUMBS UP: Hanley Ramirez made a diving play to smother a ball in the fourth inning then came up in the bottom of the frame and slapped a double to left field. He scored when Sandoval homered.

MEDICAL REPORT: Jackie Bradley Jr., scratched from the lineup on Friday because of a stiff right forearm, was back in center field. He was 0 for 2.
AROUND THE BASES: The game was called after a 30-minute delay . . . A group of children from The Jimmy Fund were at the game and mingled with the Sox players beforehand . . . The Red Sox reassigned righthander Sean O’Sullivan to minor league camp. He appeared in three games and allowed three runs in 6? innings. The Sox now have 45 players in camp.
