Guac-Off champs leave rest green with envy

Ten teams entered the fourth annual Painted Burro Guac-Off on Sunday, but only one took the oversized, $300 grand prize check. Christine, Elliette, and Chris Gee (from left) earned the title with a recipe called “La Niña’s Grilled Piña Guacamole.’’ The dip included charcoal-grilled pineapple chunks, garlic, and corn kernels. The judges for the day included NECN meteorologists Nelly Carreño and Michael Page, and former Guac-Off winner Isaac Hendrickson.
