Regarding terror threat, forget the odds and look at the facts

I read the statistic offered by Ralf Heilmann, in his Feb. 12 letter, regarding the greater likelihood of being killed by a meteorite than by a terrorist (“Shots ring out at the mall — quick, is it . . . terrorism?’’). How many humans — or any life forms, for that matter — have been killed by meteorites in the last decade? How many by terrorists?
