MUSIC THEATER DEBUTS IN MAINE Calling all music lovers: Vinegar Hill Music Theater recently debuted as southern Maine’s newest live arts entertainment venue. The former Arundel Barn Playhouse was purchased in December, and new owners Tim Harrington and Deb Lennon spent the winter sprucing it up with renovations and additions such as new balcony seating boxes, a full service bar and upgraded acoustics and sound systems. Under the creative director George Dvorsky, the venue aims to be a place for the community to gather, socialize, and watch some great performances by authors, entertainers and musicians in a variety of genres including cabaret, classical, rock, folk, and blues. Upcoming offerings include performances by Livingston Taylor, Rickie Lee Jones, Maria Muldaur, Maureen McGovern, and John Whelan’s Low Lily “Irish Americana.’’ Tickets $20-$170. 207-985-5552, vinegarhillmusic.com
