Feeling cheesy? This is the place to be.

Sharp or soft, pungent or runny — pick your pleasure at the Massachusetts Cheese Festival, happening on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Somerville Armory.

The fromage fest, run by the Massachusetts Cheese Guild, spotlights cheeses made with local milk, featuring purveyors including Concord’s venerable Cheese Shop, Lowell’s Mill City Cheesemongers, and Shubie’s Marketplace in Marblehead.

Sample and purchase local cheeses, experiment with cheese pairings (honey! jam! candy!), sip cider and wine, and learn how your favorite cheese is made. Dairy devotees can also buy guild memberships for $25.

Adult tickets are $40 ($10 for kids); get them at www.macheese fest.org. The Somerville Armory is located at 191 Highland Ave., Somerville, artsatthearmory.org.
