NORTON – Wadsworth freshman cross country runner Clare Nicholas took first with a time of 18:55 in the Girls Suburban National League Championship Oct. 11. She was followed by teammates Laney Corell in fourth place with a time of 19:56, and in seventh place, Ashley Galek at 20:09.
