Driver cited for trespass after trying to ditch cops
Montville Township Police
Dec. 10 – Citations for driving under suspension and criminal trespassing were issued for a 23-year-old Medina man after he reportedly pulled into an address on Wadsworth Road in a reportedly-admitted attempt to "ditch" the officer who was behind him. A used syringe, a piece of gauze and a burnt spoon were reportedly located in the suspect vehicle.

Dec. 25 – A burglary was reported at a West Park Boulevard address at 8:07 p.m. A rear entrance of a garage was kicked in.
Dec. 25 – A juvenile missing from a Medina Street address was found at 7:40 p.m.
Dec. 25 – William V. Liebenguth, 22, of Brunswick, was arrested on a warrant at a Pearl Road address at 1:38 p.m.
Dec. 24 – A juvenile was arrested and charged with domestic violence after police were called to a business at 9:50 p.m.
Dec. 24 – A vehicle parked on the roadway of Commerce Drive was reported stolen at 8:51 a.m.
Dec. 23 – Police transported an intoxicated man in the area of Public Square to the hospital at 9:35 p.m.
Dec. 22 – A cab driver called police after a juvenile female skipped out on paying her fare. The juvenile was charged with theft.
Dec. 22 – A lock box was reported stolen from a Branch Road address at 9:19 a.m.
Dec. 20 – Medina Police and the Medina County Drug Task Force arrested Andrew J. Seeley, 27, of Springbrook Drive, on a felony warrant during a traffic stop on North Court Street at 6:53 p.m.
Dec. 20 – Police were called after spent gun shells were found in the garbage of a Northland Drive address.
Montville Township Police
Dec. 12 – A Wooster Pike Road homeowner returned home after being out of town and found tracks in the snow that went to the rear of the residence. The tracks were from the electric company checking the meter. The homeowner reportedly believed her daughter was in the house. The homeowner further advised nothing appeared to be missing and did not wish to pursue any charges.
Dec. 12 – Montville police assisted Medina Township police with the apprehension of two males reportedly taking items from unlocked vehicles on Hickory Lane.
Dec. 11 – A mother called in reference to a verbal domestic dispute between her daughter and her daughter's live-in boyfriend to discuss options with an officer.
Dec. 9 – A vehicle traveling north on River Styx Road hit a deer that entered the roadway from the east. No injuries were reported but the vehicle sustained functional damage to the passenger front bumper, headlight, hood, grill and fender.
Dec. 9 – A father came to the station to discuss issues between his 14-year-old daughter and a fellow Highland High School female. His options were discussed.
Dec. 8 – A suspicious person was reported at a Riverrock Way residence. The person tried to give them free items to sample, but when the items were declined the person left and did not stop at any other house. When police arrived, the suspicious person was gone.
Dec. 8 – A male knocked on the door of a Wisteria Lane residence and when the homeowner looked out the male turned away, got in an SUV and drove away. This was the second similar complaint police had received, the other being a male soliciting candles and Tupperware in sandwich bags. Police were unable to locate the vehicle or male.
Dec. 7 – An East Normandy Park Drive complainant's identity was stolen and used to withdraw money from their bank account.
Medina Township Police
Dec. 22 – Police spoke with the mother of a 17-year-old boy who wished to file a police report about a 19-year-old male posting messages online that were harassing to her son. Police spoke with the 19-year-old, who claimed the 17-year-old was also harassing him. Both were advised to stop all postings before charges were filed. Both agreed.
Dec. 22 – Police were called after a 17-year-old male reportedly took his parents' vehicle from their Tompkins Road address without permission. The son was reportedly suicidal and was located by police before being taken to a hospital. The parents did not wish to pursue charges.
Dec. 17 – A male client at a Grande Shops Avenue business was told he needed to make an appointment and would have to wait. The male reportedly became irate and threatened an employee. A report was filed.
Dec. 11 – Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Twin Fawn Court at 1:21 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and a passenger was cited for marijuana possession.
