The Veterans Affairs hospital in Jamaica Plain will stay closed through Friday as crews continue to clean up a major water spill, officials said.

Employees will work from different locations to treat patients while the Jamaica Plain campus is closed, VA Healthcare Boston said in a statement.

Over the Valentine’s Day weekend, freezing temperatures caused pipes to burst and water to spill into the hospital.

Veterans who receive care at the Jamaica Plain campus will be treated at other locations or will be able to speak with doctors over the phone, VA Boston said.

There will also be extended clinic hours, mobile medical units, and temporary clinics.

The Jamaica Plain Veterans Affairs hospital is one of the three main campuses in the VA Boston Healthcare System.
