The Stoughton Farmers Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, on the front lawn of the First Parish Universalist Church on Washington Street. The weekly market will feature produce vendors, local artisans, and live music by local musicians. With a farm-to-table focus, various vendors will offer fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, bread, and wine. SNAP and EBT are accepted. A care tent will be available for parents to drop off their children while shopping. The market will be open every Saturday at the same time and place until Oct. 1.

For the first time, Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham is hosting two temporary storefronts for regional small businesses. Quincy-based women’s apparel store A Ruby (above) is occupying a 700-square-foot space dubbed The Pop Up, a flexible lease space that will accommodate various small businesses in coming months. A Ruby is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., until June 26. The second temporary storefront is Marshfield-based surf and summer apparel store Levitate, open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., until July 4.

Reebok’s international headquarters in Canton hosted the annual American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts Chapter’s Optimism Walk on June 5. More than 1,200 people turned out, raising more than $120,000 for the association to provide grants to scientists and researchers working toward prevention, treatment, and a cure. It will also be used to provide information, education, and support to those affected by the disease.

Mansfield-based human resources company HR Knowledge absorbed Waltham-based human resources software firm Resource Navigation as part of a merger that was finalized last month. President Jeff Garr said this now gives the organization the ability to provide both service and technological support for its clients. As a result of the merger, HR now employs some 60 people and serves more than 9,000, Garr said.
