Two new talk shows are premiering on Oct. 28.

I’ve written about “Daily Show’’ alum Hasan Minhaj’s upcoming Netflix gig, a weekly political comedy series called “Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj.’’ The other talker is going to be hosted by Busy Philipps on E!. Called “Busy Tonight,’’ the half-hour will air Sundays through Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

Philipps first broke through with her unforgettable turn on “Freaks and Geeks’’ as tough girl Kim Kelly. Since then, she has been in “Cougar Town,’’ “Dawson’s Creek,’’ “ER,’’ and “Vice Principals.’’ She has also become famous for her BFF action with Michelle Williams.

According to E!, “Busy Tonight’’ the show will revolve around “everyone’s favorite unfiltered Hollywood best friend giving her hilarious and outspoken opinions on the latest pop culture stories and trending topics with candid celebrity guest interviews and original comedic segments.’’
