2017 MassEcon Annual Conference

Come to an event focused on harnessing the collaborative power of technology startups and businesses in Massachusetts. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, speak on behalf of their companies, and learn about new advancements in the technology field. Crush your marketing game

Join BostonSpeaks for their monthly panel breakfast series for entrepreneurs. Participants will have the opportunity to network with fellow marketers and entrepreneurs, ask questions, and give advice. Breakfast will be served. Friday, 8 to 10 a.m., Hatch Fenway, 401 Park Drive, 8th floor, Boston. Free.

HACKATHON

MIT Internet of Things

Attend a hackathon event for individuals who want to create devices that combine hardware, software, and data science. Participants will be given their own supplies, but are encouraged to bring their own hardware as they see necessary. Saturday, 9 to 5 p.m., MIT Stata Center, 32 Vassar St., Cambridge. Free.

CLASS

Python for data analysis

Come to a class on how to perform data analysis using the programming language Python. Attendees will learn the essentials of programming in Python and how to apply those skills to data analytics. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Cambridge Innovation Center, 1 Broadway, Cambridge. $185.
