Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry 8 p.m., E!

I’m hearing a voice, and it’s telling me that you watch TV and that you’re sick and tired of all the good stuff that people rave on and on about, including, right now, HBO’s “The Night Of,’’ USA’s “Mr. Robot,’’ and Starz’s “Survivor’s Remorse.’’ You think critics are confusing TV with the finer art of books, and you think you’ll die before you’ll watch another stinkin’ HBO “quality’’ show.

Wait, I’m sensing that you did have a really good experience with HBO’s “True Detective’’ a few years back – oops, hold on, the voice is telling me to make it clear that it was definitely just the first season, not the second. And I’m getting an image of a twisted-up crying face, which is signaling to me that you also might have liked “Homeland’’ at some point. But now, I can tell, you’re looking for something less challenging.

I’m having a vision of your name attached to a listing for a show called “Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry.’’ The series doesn’t try to be art, and so I think it might please you. It’s all about feeling, and not about thinking, while watching. Indeed, I’m hearing through the psychic grapevine that turning off your brain is highly recommended in this case.

“Hollywood Medium’’ revolves around the work of Tyler Henry, a clairvoyant who goes for the emotional jugular. He is 20 years old, he looks like a sweet young Macaulay Culkin, and he helps the stars get in touch with their dead relatives.

I’m feeling your skepticism come over me. You’re thinking he’s a fake. But he often gets famous celebrities to cry on TV about their most profound losses, so he has to be real. We know that celebrities are too smart to be fooled, and we also know that they don’t like to attract attention with public displays about their personal lives.

He has spoken with a few Kardashians, Matt Lauer, Margaret Cho, and Sara Gilbert’s mom. On Wednesday, with the premiere of season two, Henry will get some tears out of Melissa Joan Hart and Snooki. I know you will love it.
