Supermodel Gisele Bundchen walked before the largest audience of her career when she made her appearance at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Friday night, wearing a sparkling dress and strutting across the stage to the Brazilian song “The Girl from Ipanema.’’ In an interview with People magazine, she said it was the longest runway she’d ever walked in her life. But some viewers on Twitter complained that NBC’s cameras focused too much on Tom Brady’s supermodel spouse during the ceremony, which she truly seemed to enjoy. She was all smiles, and could be seen waving her right arm enthusiastically and jumping in time with the music during one of the colorful choreographed dance performances.
