The way he’s hitting right now, there’s no pitch that won’t tempt Edwin Encarnacion to swing.
Encarnacion hit two more homers and drove in five runs as the Blue Jays beat Baltimore, 11-6, on Saturday in Toronto, the Orioles’ second straight defeat following a five-game winning streak.
Encarnacion snapped an 0-for-19 slump by ending Friday’s game with a leadoff homer in the 10th. On Saturday, he walked in the first, hit an RBI double in the third, walked in the fifth, hit a three-run blast in Toronto’s five-run sixth, then went back-to-back with Michael Saunders in the eighth.
‘‘When you feel good, they can throw the ball on the ground and you can still hit it,’’ Encarnacion said through a translator.
Encarnacion has five homers and 13 RBIs in his past 10 games. Of his past 34 hits, 21 have gone for extra bases.
It was the 23d multihomer game of Encarnacion’s career. Toronto hit consecutive homers for the third time this season.
J.A. Happ (7-3) allowed four runs and eight hits in seven innings. T.J. McFarland (1-2) lost in relief, allowing five runs in two innings.
Tigers 6, Yankees 1 — Ian Kinsler homered and drove in a career-high five runs for Detroit, and Justin Verlander finally won in the new Yankee Stadium.

Kinsler hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the fifth and a two-run double in the seventh.

Carlos Gonzalez had a three-run homer in the first and an RBI single in the fifth.
Relying on an efficient sinker, Chatwood found his groove at Coors Field after being so dominant in road starts. He threw 6? strong innings and allowed three runs.
Cubs 8, Braves 2 — Jake Arrieta (10-1) allowed only four hits in seven strong innings and, backed by four homers, made an impressive return to winning form as visiting Chicago beat Atlanta.

Astros 4, Rays 3 — Carlos Gomez and Luis Valbuena hit solo home runs to back the pitching of Mike Fiers and lead visiting Houston.
Gomez went deep off Chris Archer (4-8) to tie it in the seventh. Marwin Gonzalez scored on Erasmo Ramirez’s wild pitch in the eighth and Valbuena homered off Dana Eveland for a two-run lead in the ninth.
