A 1968 Harvard Football Championship gold pendant that belonged to actor Tommy Lee Jones is up for auction. Huggins & Scott Auctions is handling the sale of the pendant, which includes a 14-karat gold safety pin with a 10-karat gold football that has the game score — “H-29/Y-29’’ — and the text “1968 / 8-0-1 / T.L. JONES ’69.’’ The pendant comes with a signed letter of authenticity from Jones’s first wife, author Kate Lardner, who has owned the piece since the 1970s. Jones, whose roommate at Harvard was Al Gore, was an All-Ivy guard for the Crimson’s championship team.
