A freshman at Brandeis University, the Newton South grad launched two grand slams and drove in nine runs while hitting at a .526 clip last week, earning ECAC Rookie of the Week honors in baseball and raising his batting average to .369.

The senior midfielder at Worcester State recorded a school-record eight assists in a 21-10 women’s lacrosse win over Rhode Island College. She had 22 points in a 2-1 week for the Lancers, raising her season totals to team-leading 56 goals and 36 assists.

The Bowdoin senior was named NESCAC Women’s Track Performer of the Week after a win in the triple jump (11.79 meters) and third-place finish in the long jump (5.11m) at the Aloha Relays. Her distance in the triple jump ranks 10th in Division 3.
