Warriors tie NBA record for wins

Stephen Curry scored 37 points to lead the Golden State Warriors in San Antonio, 92-86, for their 72d victory of the season Sunday, tying the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls for the NBA record.

The Warriors now travel back home to finish their regular season and try to set a record against the Grizzlies Wednesday night.

The Spurs had won 48 consecutive regular-season games at home, including an NBA-record 39 straight to begin this season.

Golden State ended a 33-game skid in San Antonio that dated to 1997.

San Antonio sat Tim Duncan for rest and was without an injured Boris Diaw. It had not lost at home since March 2015.

Pacers 129, Nets 105 — Myles Turner scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as host Indiana clinched a playoff berth.

Raptors 93, Knicks 89 — DeMar DeRozan converted a tiebreaking three-point play with 1:05 left as visiting Toronto stayed alive for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Heat 118, Magic 96 — Luol Deng scored 20 points as Miami tied the Celtics in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Bucks 109, 76ers 108 — Khris Middleton scored 36 points to lead ­Milwaukee to an overtime win in Philadelphia.

Wizards 113, Hornets 98 — Marcin Gortat had 21 points as host Washington damaged Charlotte’s chances to get home court in the first round.

Rockets 130, Lakers 110 — James Harden scored 20 of his 40 points in the fourth quarter, and host Houston kept its playoff hopes alive.

Jazz 100, Nuggets 84 — Gordon Hayward helped fuel a 24-0 third-quarter run as visiting Utah maintained its slim lead for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Clippers 98, Mavericks 91 — Jamal Crawford scored 22 points as host Los Angeles prevented Dallas clinching a playoff berth.
