A senior on the men’s lacrosse squad at Emmanuel College, Heffernan is the three-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The Saints (11-9) yielded a conference-low 50 goals. He forced 35 turnovers.

In UMass’s drive to its eighth straight Atlantic 10 women’s lacrosse title, the junior repeated as the conference’s Midfielder of the Year. She has tallied 44 points for the Minutewomen (18-1), who played Princeton Friday in the NCAA Tournament.

A sophomore outfielder at Babson College, he hit .362 with a team-high six home runs and 38 RBIs for the Beavers (24-16-1). The Dexter School grad was the NEWMAC’s co-Player of the Week after hitting .556 with 16 RBIs in a 6-1 week.
