Eric Paul Carl
Eric Paul Carl, 64, of Burbank, left this spiritual plane on Nov. 27, 2017. He was surrounded by his family’s love as he departed this earth. He was born to Virginia (nee Martin) and Philip Carl.
Eric went to Medina High School and lived in Medina and Wayne County all of his life. He was a certified welder and machinist by profession, and worked at Premier Building Products for 20 years, retiring in 2001. During semi-retirement, he indulged in his many hobbies – reading, hunting, gardening, hiking and spending time in the woods scouting for whitetail deer, in addition to his love of classic cars and trucks. Eric was known for helping anyone who needed a hand, even at his own expense, and he will be dearly missed.
Eric is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Varisco); son, Evan Carl, married to dearest daughter-in-law, Nicole (Nichols) Carl; granddaughter, Skylar; brother, Larry of Chippewa Lake; nephew, John (Kayla) Carl; niece, Maryann (Ralph) Lumley and their children Logan, Lily and Luke. Eric considered himself the grandfather of Preston and Kimberlee Carl, who will greatly miss his love. He is also survived by many loving members of Jeanette’s family and numerous amazing friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his brothers, Marty and Scott; his parents, Virginia and Philip; and all of his grandparents.
