Raptors win 11th straight

DeMar DeRozan had 29 points and the Raptors beat the Detroit Pistons, 111-107, on Saturday night in Toronto to push the team’s franchise-best win streak to 11 games.

Kyle Lowry had 18 points and backup center Bismack Biyombo added 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Detroit’s Andre Drummond had 11 points and 12 rebounds for his NBA-leading 39th double-double.

The Raptors led throughout and blew it open in the final quarter. A pair of free throws by Lowry following a flagrant foul from Stanley Johnson increased the Raptors’ lead to 20 points with 6:19 remaining in the game.

Warriors 108, 76ers 105 — Harrison Barnes hit a 3-pointer with 0.2 seconds remaining and Golden State escaped Philadelphia with a win.

Klay Thompson had 32 points and Stephen Curry scored 23 for the Warriors, who nearly blew a 24-point second-half lead. Golden State won its sixth straight game while matching the NBA’s best start through 47 games.

The Warriors tied the 1966-67 76ers, who also won 43 of their first 47.

‘‘If the gods delivered what should have happened, we probably should have lost because that’s what happens when you mess around with the game and the ball,’’ Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.

Isaiah Canaan had 18 points to lead the 76ers.

Cavaliers 117, Spurs 103 — LeBron James scored 29 points and Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving added 21 apiece as host Cleveland finally took down one of the NBA’s elite teams.

The Cavs won their fourth straight under coach Tyronn Lue, who was promoted after David Blatt was fired on Jan. 22.

Cleveland came in 0-5 against San Antonio, Golden State, and Chicago, three top-tier teams that figure to contend with them for a title this season.

Pelicans 105, Nets 103 — Jrue Holiday hit a 15-foot shot with 1.3 seconds remaining and New Orleans held off visiting Brooklyn.

New Orleans’s Anthony Davis scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in his first game back after sitting out with a concussion.

Brook Lopez scored 33 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the Nets.

Wizards 123, Rockets 122 — John Wall had 19 points, 13 assists, and 8 rebounds as visiting Washington snapped a three-game losing streak.

Pacers 109, Nuggets 105 — Monta Ellis scored a season-high 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Indiana at home.

Grizzlies 121, Kings 117 — Jeff Green scored 29 points to lead host Memphis past Sacramento.
