Michigan: prepare for what you’re about to receive!
letter to the editor
To the Editor:
Well, here we go again: undefeated Ohio State (11-0) travels to Ann Arbor to do battle with it’s much-hated arch rival, Michigan (9-2). The Buckeyes already won the east division conference by knocking off Penn State 28-17, thus guaranteed a spot in the BIG10 Championship game.
However, Ohio State is ranked No. 2 in the playoffs and a win against the Wolverines will add strength to its resume. It has been eight years since the Wolverines tasted a victory against the powerful Buckeyes. Yeah, ping-a-ling that!
Coach Day has a QB in Justin Fields who can put his foot in the ground and go through the gears, making something big out of nothing. Fields also has a strong arm that can make every throw on the field. Fields has thrown 33 TDs and only one pick!
Ohio State’s O-Line not only protects the pocket for the most part, but it opens running lanes for RB J.K. Dobbins, which cause nightmares for opposing defenses. Against Penn State, Coach Day ran Fields 21 times and Dobbins 36 times, getting them ready for a violent, physical pounding that is coming their way against Michigan.
In closing, Ohio State’s defense, led by Chase Young, will unleash a physical assault on QB Shea Patterson and his boys! “Hey Michigan, be prepared for what you are about to receive!” Ohio State 34, Michigan 17.
God bless, go Bucks!
