The Emerson College sophomore was named the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week after a pair of double doubles, combining for 26 rebounds in the two contests. He scored 21 with 15 boards against Coast Guard and dropped 18 points with 11 rebounds against Springfield.

In her 33rd year at the helm of Babson women’s basketball, Blinstrub recorded her 600th career win Feb. 8 in a 72-51 rout of Emerson at home. She is now the seventh active coach and 14th in Division 3 to record at least 600 wins.

In the Little East/Alliance Indoor Track and Field Championship, the UMass-Dartmouth senior earned her first New England Alliance title in the 1,000-meter run, crossing the finish line with a 3:06.12 time in the 20-runner field.
