The Endicott sophomore was announced as a semifinalist for the 17th annual Joe Concannon Award, given to the best US-born Division 2-3 hockey player. One of four Gulls to be nominated, the 6-foot-4-inch forward has recorded 13 goals and 14 assists this season.

The Worcester State sophomore earned the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week award after placing first in the weight throw (17.93 meters) at the conference championships. He is currently ranked sixth nationally in the event.

TYLER WHITNEY

WAKEFIELD

The Trinity junior forward had an assist in a 2-1 overtime win over Colby, then put up a hat trick for the Bantams in a 6-1 victory over Bowdoin the next day to earn the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week award.
