Tom McCarthy, an artist, photographed the Fontaine’s chicken sign, part of the Glow neon installation that opened Wednesday on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway. The installation includes eight historic neon signs owned by Malden collector Dave Waller. Other signs are from Bay State Auto Spring, Bill’s Radio, Flying Yankee Restaurant, Cycle Center, European Restaurant, Siesta Motel, and State Line Potato Chips.
