Land records research: The Norfolk County Registry of Deeds is hosting a free informational seminar on computer-assisted land records research Wednesday, May 4, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Presented by Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell, the program will feature reference materials, hands-on exercises, and a question-and-answer period. The event is free to the public; registration is required. Improv show: Join regional teens as they put on an improvisational show they call Improv Soup Friday, May 6, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Burrell School Auditorium, 16 Morse St. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Celebrate with sheep: Celebrate Earth Day at the Soule Homestead Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Watch sheep get shorn, see sheep-herding dogs in action, enjoy music, crafts and games for kids and more. One admission per membership is free; otherwise admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children under 12, and free for children under 3. A lunch will be available.
