Recent bird sightings on Cape Cod (as of Feb. 14) as reported to the Massachusetts Audubon Society.

A gyrfalcon was reported from Menahaunt Beach in Falmouth.

A male painted bunting continued at various feeders on Brick Hill Road in East Orleans, and an Audubon’s yellow-rumped warbler was still visiting a feeder in North Truro.

A greater white-fronted goose and snow goose continued in Harwich.

Birds at Race Point in Provincetown included a king eider, up to 3 Pacific loons, 7 dovekies, 35 common murres, 10 thick-billed murres, 1,800 razorbills, 50 black-legged kittiwakes, 25 Iceland gulls, and a peregrine falcon.

At Cape Cod Organic Farm in Barnstable, sightings included a red-shouldered hawk, an American kestrel, a fish crow, an Eastern phoebe, and a vesper sparrow.

Other sightings around the Cape included 2 wood ducks in Sandwich, a yellow-breasted chat at Long Pasture sanctuary in Barnstable, a Western willet in Barnstable Harbor, an American bittern and 2 seaside sparrows in Nauset Marsh in Eastham, and a black-headed gull in Wellfleet.
