■ Correction: Because of a reporting error, an item in Sunday’s Starts and Stops column on Greater Boston railroad history mischaracterized Tim Murphy’s description of the history of the Riverside line. The Riverside branch of the Green Line originally served as a segment of the Boston-Worcester Railroad, a predecessor to the Boston and Albany Railroad.
