Where blizzards go to die. When heavy snowfall clogs the streets, cities and towns designate certain forlorn lots as municipal snow dumping grounds. The Marine Industrial Park in South Boston is a popular one. After the patience-testing 2015 blizzards, the last of what had been a 75-foot high farm on Tide Street did not fully melt until mid-July.
