Full Frontal With Samantha Bee 10:30 p.m., TNT, TBS, Adult Swim, truTV, HLN

It was always a treat when Samantha Bee appeared on “The Daily Show,’’ where she served as a correspondent for 12 years. Samantha Bee Good (get it?). On Monday, she re-enters late night with her own weekly TBS series, which the Turner networks are giving a concerted push by simulcasting the premiere episode. What’s the big deal? Unbelievably — wait, strike that, believably — Bee is currently the only woman to be hosting a late-night show. When Stephen Colbert asked her about that on “The Late Show’’ last week, she deadpanned, “Before I began this process I didn’t even know women COULD talk.’’ “Full Frontal’’ will be satirical — could Bee not be satirical? — and it will both look at news items and feature more John Oliver-like in-depth segments. In the premiere, Bee will take on how the Veterans Administration is or isn’t preparing to deal with the needs of women in the miliary who’ve been in combat.
