In a one-of-a-kind event to mark the 50th anniversary of its Man of the Year award, Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals will publicly celebrate 2016 honoree Joseph Gordon-Levitt, star of “(500) Days of Summer,’’ “Looper,’’ and most recently, “The Walk,’’ on the steps of the Hasty Pudding Clubhouse at 96 Winthrop St. in Cambridge at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The event will feature the Lexington Minute Men and a skit with Gordon-Levitt. Where the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year is paraded through Harvard Square, the man of honor traditionally avoids public spotlight, usually getting a roast and a ceremony. This year’s Woman of the Year was Kerry Washington.
