David Oritz’s post-retirement plans? Eat a lot of big lunches and sponsor a bunch of companies.

That’s how Kenan Thompson portrayed it in a Weekend Update sketch on “Saturday Night Live.’’

As he did in November, Thompson donned a fake beard, a Red Sox jersey, a chain, and even a fake gap between his teeth à la Papi. He opened the new sketch by saying that Oritz’s favorite part of Opening Day is getting to eat a “biiiiig lunch.’’ A “biiiiig Dominican lunch with Big Papi’’ before emulating Ortiz’s patented double-clap, two-hands-pointing-to-the-sky home run celebration.

The sketch goes on to say Thompson’s Ortiz will continue to be a spokesman for baseball after he retires and also advocate for Welp, BeeWorld, and Super Chunky Cheesy Bites.

“If you need more advice from Big Papi, you can always check Welp . . .

“Welp: You looking for a good seafood restaurant in Cleveland? Welp, I can’t help you! I live in Boston, man! How I know what’s happening in Cleveland?’’
