What was Harvard thinking with this unfair, unwise policy?

I find Harvard’s new policy regarding so-called final clubs, fraternities, and sororities to be unfair, unwise, offensive, and possibly illegal for reasons too numerous to count (“Harvard puts new limits on all-male social clubs’’).

“Inclusion and diversity’’ apparently only applies if Harvard finds your particular group to be on its short list of currently politically correct associations.

Joining a club is now “a form of self-segregation’’? And exercising your right to freedom of association is now justification for harming your eligibility for scholarships or disqualifying you from leadership of campus organizations?

What are they thinking?
