I’m writing to say how much I enjoyed seeing the verb “engender’’ in the subhead with “Taking the ‘M-E-N’ out of town boards: Bids to change names can engender debates’’ (Page A1, June 26) — some writerly fun to savor with my morning coffee. Wordplay is alive, and thriving, on the Globe’s front page.
