The basketball guard was named to the Northeast 10 honor roll after averaging 17 points and eight rebounds in a 2-0 week for Merrimack College. The 5-foot-10 sophomore led the team in scoring in both games.

LEXINGTON

Bowdoin basketball forward Hugh O’Neil was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference honor roll after averaging 14.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in three games over the course of a week. The Phillips Exeter grad connected on 56.7 percent of his shots from the field.

FRANKLIN

The goaltender was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference honor roll after leading the Connecticut College hockey team to a 5-2 win Jan. 5. The Portsmouth Abbey grad made 28 saves on 30 shots in the team’s only game over a week.
