Massachusetts jobless rate

The Massachusetts unemployment rate for December will be released Thursday. The Commonwealth’s jobless rate dropped to 2.6 percent in November from 2.7 percent the month before.

ECONOMIC DATA

US mortgage rates

New numbers for the average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage will be released Thursday. Last week, Freddie Mac reported that the average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage fell to 4.12 percent from 4.20 percent the week before.
