Jason Pominville scored in the fourth round of the shootout, snapping off a wrist shot from the right slot past goalie Robin Lehner, to give the Minnesota Wild a 3-2 victory over the host Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.
Charlie Coyle also scored in the shootout, Mikko Koivu and David Jones had regulation goals, and Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves for the Wild, who continued their playoff push with their fourth straight win.

Ryan Kesler and Jacob Silfverberg also scored for Anaheim and Frederik Andersen made 32 saves in his first start against the Kings this season, helping Bruce Boudreau earn his 400th regular-season coaching victory.
Flyers 6, Blue Jackets 0 — Radko Gudas scored two goals — including one from 91 feet — and had a pair of assists to lead host Philadelphia’s six-goal onslaught on Columbus goaltender Curtis McElhinney (30 saves).
Michael Raffi, Sam Gagner, Claude Giroux, and Nick Cousins also scored for the Flyers, who moved within three points of the Penguins for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Senators 3, Maple Leafs 2 — Marc Methot (2:56) and Zack Smith (17:45) scored in the third period to rally visiting Ottawa from a 2-1 deficit in Dion Phaneuf’s return to Toronto.
Coyotes 5, Panthers 1 — Arizona’s Alex Tanguay had two goals and an assist while Antoine Vermette capped a 4-point night with three assists and a third-period tally against visiting Florida.
