
Bank of America unloaded some of its art collection last week to benefit the Camp Harbor View Foundation. In all, the auction, which was held at the MFA and attended by the likes of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Isabella Stewart Gardner director Peggy Fogelman, and Camp Harbor View chairman Jack Connors, raised $1.157?million to support programs that help young people in Boston’s urban neighborhood. The pieces sold had been in Bank of America’s collection or acquired by BOA over a period of years as it merged with other banks. Anne Finucane, BOA’s vice chairman, emceed the auction. Paintings selling for hefty sums included Andy Warhol’s “Flowers,’’ which fetched $35,000, Roy Lichtenstein’s “Still Life With Lobster,’’ which brought in $18,000, and Ellsworth Kelly’s “Colored Paper Image XV,’’ which went for $20,000.
