The Springfield College senior won the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week award after the Pride’s tri-meet sweep of Hartwick and Union. She helped the 200-meter medley relay team finish first; won the 200-meter breast stroke; finished second in the 100-meter butterfly; and third in the 200-meter butterfly.

The 6-foot-2-inch sophomore guard scored a career-high 29 points in Salem State’s 103-84 win over Worcester State, including five triples and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. He’s averaging 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists for the Vikings, who went on a four-game wining streak to improve to 8-6.

COLLEEN CAVENEY

ANDOVER

The 5-8 guard tallied 12 points with four assists in Middlebury’s 58-56 squeaker over Connecticut College. The sophomore is having a very productive season for the Panthers, averaging 12.6 points per game, including 42.4 percent shooting from the 3-point line, with 14 triples in the Panthers’ first 12 games (10-2).
