The annual student move-in frenzy in Boston is in full swing. Emerson students (above) took part on Boylston Street on Tuesday, managing with a car. But for those who need trucks there is a process. A total of 1,457 moving truck permits will be active citywide on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. The map at right shows the 1,220 permits for which coordinates were available. The other 237 permits could not be mapped because no coordinate data was available in city records.
